The area is one of the most beautiful parts of Poland and is called the "Pojezierze Pomorskie" or the Pomoranian Lake District, "the land of a thousand lakes". We can boast spectacular panoramic views of Lake Ostrzyckie and are close to many local facilities such as bars, restaurants, and for activities such as sailing, kayaking, horse and cart riding, hunting, fishing, skiing and sleigh riding (in the winter months), mini-golf, tennis and boat trips.

Lakeside is located about 20Kms from Gdansk airport, approximately 30 minutes drive by car. The cost by Taxi from the airport is around 100 Zloty ( about GBP 20 ). There are also bus and train stations in Kartuzy, which is about 8 kms from Lakeside, with links to Gdansk and Gdynia.
